The design brief for this Hamptons nursery was quite simple: timeless & coastal! And we achieved just that. With a soft blue, mint green and ivory colour palette, we furnished this beautiful room from head to toe. I was so happy to be able to repurpose the existing striped roman shades, which were actually the jumping off point for the design.

In order to keep the room feeling bright and airy we opted for white furnishings across the board; from a classic spindle crib, sleek ‘no hardware’ dresser, bouclé glider with matching ottoman, white floor lamp and whitewashed side table, everything just works. We kept the walls white and layered in a cute beach ball art print and stunning trio of paintings by local NYC artist Andy Blank, featuring his signature swoosh design. It creates such a fun focal point!

A playful polka dot rug and gorgeous block print cushion introduce just enough contrasting pattern. And can we take a moment to appreciate the adorable scalloped table lamp? It’s perfect for late night diaper changes and adds a little pop of blue to that side of the room. I am so pleased with the soothing and effortless vibes of this nursery.
