Classic blue isn’t the colour of the year for nothing! It’s one that is always so soothing to use in children’s rooms because it evokes feelings of calm and tranquility. This mini Client was transitioning into a big boy room so we made sure to integrate tons of interesting elements to make it extra special for him; from jaw dropping brush stroke wall decals, to playful ‘traffic jam’ bedding, practical storage solutions and vibrant wall accents. Every square inch of this room was also carefully planned to ensure it functions for many years ahead. The storage unit is perfect for books and toys right now, but will be equally as efficient for storing novels, trophy collections and school work down the road. We opted for a small dresser that doubles as a side table and there’s even room under the window for a nice long desk, once the glider won’t be of use anymore. This is what thoughtful design is all about, and something that is so important to consider in children’s spaces!
